I live in one county in California, and have a county warrant in another county. Is it possible for them to pick me up and arrest me in my home, even though the warrant is from another county?

Theoretically, the county that issued the warrant can have your home county execute the warrant or receive permission to do so. However, this rarely happens due to cuts in police budgets and workforce, unless it is a felony or serious offense. What will happen is if you are pulled over by the police, or have you name ran on the police computer system due to an interaction with the police, an outstanding county warrant will show and the police will arrest you at that time. You will have the option to be returned to the county where the warrant was issued, or appear before a judge in the county you’ve been arrested in. If you are arrested on a county warrant, you should speak with a criminal lawyer immediately to be advised of your rights and options.
