If you are being served with a bench warrant there are some things that you need to take into consideration. The first is the fact that you are being served with a bench warrant because you did not appear in court as you were supposed to in the first place. If this is the case then there will be a bench warrant issued for you in which the police will not really be actively pursuing you, however if they see you they will bring you in. In other words, they will not make an effort to get you, but they will be looking for you.
