One of the most typical types of securities fraud is when those who work in the securities market talk others into investing their money on securities by giving out false information about the supposed best ones. People will basically give their money away because they think they are going to get something for nothing. Securities fraud can also mean changing information on financial reports as well as those working in securities stealing from those who invest. Insider trading, which is basing trades on privileged information, and front running, which is buying stock with the inside knowledge of how many orders for it are coming in, and two other forms of securities fraud.
