Reckless Driving Law

Reckless driving occurs whenever anyone operates a motor vehicle in an unsafe way that endangers or could potentially engager others. It includes the knowing and willful endangerment and is often considered to be a mental state in which the driver simply fails to acknowledge the significant of his or her actions on others either in the vehicle, in other vehicles or in the vicinity. Reckless driving law specialists are important to get on your case as soon as possible as this is a very serious offense. In most areas reckless driving will be a misdemeanor, but with this serious charge there is the option of jail time along with the mandatory suspension of the driver's license through sentencing. Generally in addition to jail time and suspension or revocation of the driver's license there will also be significant fines and a misdemeanor criminal record. If convicted of reckless driving while on parole or probation those will be immediately revoked and the individual, especially those on parole, will finish off their sentence in jail. For those arrested under the reckless driving law that are not US citizens, deportation can also occur with this charge.
