As a misdemeanor charge, reckless driving, Florida and other states, can carry significant fines, jail time, and suspension or revocation of the driver's license. Within the state of Florida the possible charges for a first time offense of reckless driving can include a jail sentence of up to 90 days, fines of up to $500 or any combination of both.
