English law allows for transferred malice, while United States law does not. A murder law of Finland states that a murder must take place with exceptional cruelty. The French Penal Code includes a murder law that states premeditated murder, murder of a child below the age of fifteen, someone who has a disability, or a law officer must be punished by a sentence with a maximum of thirty years.
