Juvenile Disorderly Conduct

School house fights may seem like a normal part of growing up but these incidents could lead to a juvenile disorderly conduct charge. Disorderly conduct is defined as fighting in public place being noisy or disrupting an assembly of people. The charge can be a misdemeanor or felony. The charge rises to the level of a felony in different circumstances depending on the state where you live. Some of the circumstances for felony juvenile disorderly conduct include making a false alarm, having a weapon at the time of the incident and showing it and disrupting a funeral. If a juvenile is cited for disorderly conduct, he or she will likely be returned to the custody of his or her parents until a hearing before a juvenile court judge. In misdemeanor cases, the offender will likely pay a fine and complete community service. However felony cases could result in a stay in a juvenile detention center.
