Illegal Dumping

Illegal dumping of waste matter and garbage is becoming more of a problem in some cities. Ever since free garbage removable became scarce, people are finding other spots to dump their trash. Local laws are in place to attempt to persuade those who persist in illegal dumping to find a legal way to rid themselves of their trash and garbage. The fine for illegal dumping in most places is at least $500 U.S. dollars, and depending on what was dumped illegally, could go up to around $2000 U.S. dollars, or as much as $10,000 and jail time. Certain places in the USA also consider illegal dumping on land or into water as either a misdemeanor or a felony.
