Child Abuse Prevention

Preventing child abuse is central to many organizations in the United States. They work diligently to help ensure the well-being of children and their parents and other family members, so that child abuse will not take place. They feel that good nutrition and a healthy home environment are paramount to preventing child abuse, as well as access to good health care. The United States Government provides some families who have shown a need with Food Stamps and Section 8 Housing in order to help them meet their needs. These organizations also help to teach parents and childcare givers ways to help keep children safe. Studies have proven that stress can bring on child abuse, and parents who are stressed out are more likely to abuse their children. It is important to teach parents of young children ways to cope with their stress so that child abuse can be prevented.
