Maryland Gun Purchasing Laws
Licenses are not required or given out to firearms owners; however, an application process must be completed before an individual can purchase a 'regulated firearm.' These applications are often turned back, because there are many specifications a person must meet. The transfer of normal rifles and shotguns is unregulated.
